Wind Noise

1997 Lincoln Continental has too much wind noise at speeds over 45 mph. . The noise seems to be coming from the front windshield near the bottom. It almost sounds like its coming from the defroster vents, but its not. I bought the car used so I have no history on the windshield. . How would I know if its been replaced and the seal bad? Could it be something else causing all this noise?

Hey Doug,
Check under the hood on the panel between the engine and the intake vents / wiper panel. There should be a very large rubber seal on the Engine side of that panel. It runs the whole width of the engine compartment.

If that seal is missing, you'll have the noise you've described.
