Re: Im pretty sure KEVIN said this about injectors

Not sure what your asking. If you get Dsmlink you can go upto 1600cc.. Safc2 won't do much with injectors past 660's.

Re: Im pretty sure KEVIN said this about injectors

Kevin says that if you have or plan on having DSMlink *and* have big plans for your car, you may as well get the biggest injectors you can find at a good price (beyond a certain point, the price difference between 660s and 880s+ is negligible). If you know you aren't going larger than a 16g, you might as well just go with 660s, or whatever floats your boat. Otherwise, get big injectors and grow into them at whatever pace you like.

If you are running an AFC and don't plan on getting DSMlink, don't get injectors bigger than 660s, just like Scottsee says.

I do not plan on going past my evo 3 big 16g for a while, so just get the 660cc or get the 880cc since i am getting dsmlink?

Perfect.. As for the Injector size. If you can get 880cc'c cheap go for it. You never know if you'll ever run across a deal you just cant refuse on a 50lb/min turbo!

Re: Im pretty sure KEVIN said this about injectors

definitely, DSMLink will idle either one like stock, but you'll have room to grow. Make sure you tell Tom and Dave that you want 880c programmed instead. Also, I believe extremepsi.com has that FPR for much cheaper

Re: Im pretty sure KEVIN said this about injectors

www.extremepsi.com is $149 for the 6an FPR and $99 for the firewall install kit.

Re: Im pretty sure KEVIN said this about injectors

Sorry I've never installed a FPR (190 here) so I'm not quite sure what a firewall install kit? Is it just a bracket to mount the fpr?

550cc's are the most popular next step down. I have seen 620's though. 550's are the best injectors for a 16g / safc2 combination as they give enough fuel for most 16 applications, but are easily controllable by afc's

Evo8 injectors are rated at 560cc, but apparently are supposed to flow somewhere between 560 and 600cc.
