little noise

i've put a lot into this truck and am getting a lot of the noises it makes sorted out one i havent heard befor is a ping ping ping when i stomp on the gas,, sounds like might be comming from the trans,, just put in new oil pump rod bearings ,trans filter, u joints ,stearing box and pumpalong with a lot of other things if that helps

Valve tap? I'm sure you change your oil regularly, but having problems under load is usually something Valve train related. IMO.

no its more like a ping,,not a knock or tap sounds like its comming from the trans aera maybe ,, kinda loud sound,, and yea its had new oil pump connecting rod bearings more or less is rebuilt
