Evo vs. Eclipse GSX
Hey, I was wondering, what are the major differences in the Evo series compared to the Eclipse GSX (AWD)? Are the platforms completely different? I know they both use the 4G63 engine, that's the only common component I am aware of.
This came about because I was telling my friend about how much I want an Evo, and he said why don't you just get an AWD Eclipse and mod it. Just wondering about your thoughts on this.. |

GSX isn't anything compared to an evo. An evo has an Active Yaw control, an Active center differential, an infinitely better suspension, bigger brakes, recaros stock, A completely different transmission, the steering is quicker, and the engine has stronger internals, a better turbo, and a front mount intercooler. Its what the GSX aspires to be...The GSX is a quick road car, the Evo is a race car that was dressed up and thrown out on the street. The EVO has SOOO much more potential than a GSX does...
