what year did they switch?

What year did they stop using the 5.7 liter and switch to the 5.3 or 5.4? whatever it is....

1998 for the 5.7..... and 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, 8.1, are for the 1999- to present........Fords have 5.4's.....

The 1500's they built some old body style trucks in '99 with the 5.7, most were the new body style with the 4.8, and 5.3. The 2500, and 3500 they kept the 5.7and 7.4 through '01, in '02 they completely droped the old body and went with the new body and the new motors.
