problem starting

i have a 97 bravada and it seems to have a problem starting. not in the morning or after it has been sitting for a while but only after i have been driving and then turn it off and then try to start it is sounds like it just isnt getting gas. help anyone?

does the engine sound like it's cranking, or turning over normaly? a starter thats going bad will give you problems when hot because of the increased resitance when hot.

You might try checking the fuel pressure, I read it has to be on spec before it'll start...62psi I think.

yeah, they're pretty sensetive to fuel pressure. if the pressure is good and you have spark you might want to check the crank postion sensor. here's a link how to:
