Starter

How hard is it to replace the starter on a 1999 chevry astro? Was wondering if it is worth taking it somewhere to be serviced or to do it myself!

Re: Starter

Replacing a starter is actually one of the easier repairs to be done.
I recently pulled mine ( in preparation for pulling the transmission ).
Depending on the year model, you are looking at two or three wires bolted to the starter, and two or three mounting bolts to remove it.
