04' Sierra Dome Light and Check Engine

This is wierd, my check engine light has come on and my dome light doesn't work. The reading lights up front work fine, so I don't know if it could be a Fuse or not. Has anyone heard of something like this?

what makes you think these are related?
check the simple things first, dome over ride switched on??

They were, I just got it back today. It was an electrical problem, they had to replace the fuse block, ignition, and couple fuses in the engine compartment. I checked all the normal stuff first(dome override), the obvious stuff. Just thought I would ask...
