Tip Preference?

I'm looking into picking up some exhaust tips... i really like the borla dual round angle cut intercooled tips... but ive heard they sometimes dont fit right, they dont clean up well, and the little things inside make your exhaust sound ricey... any truth to that?

Re: Tip Preference?

I don't care for the Borla tips on a Trans Am.

I like basic 3.5" slash tips.
After a quick search...best pic I found.

Re: Tip Preference?

Well I've got the rectangular tips on mine. [PIC] They're almost identical. And I can't complain about mine at all. They're easy to clean, and fit perfect. As for sound, at idle, my car sounds sick... But sice it's a V6, it gets the high pitched sound at higher rpm's, but nowhere near as bad as the guys w/ Flowmasters. So i figure with the sound I get at idle, it's gotta sound even better for the V8's.

30 minute install. Just be careful when putting the new white face on.

The way of the mullet??

It is a Trans Am....It automatically gives you a mullet when you get behind the wheel.
