Powerseat problem, '99 Jimmy

My drive side power seat has stopped moving back and forth correctly on the track. The left side still moves forward and backward, but the rightside (near the console) is jammed. This causes the seat to rotate and pivot, but very limited. Any suggestions what is wrong or how I can fix it?

Well you could start by taking the seat out. Probably needs a new track.

Re: Powerseat problem, '99 Jimmy

I found the problem, there is a steel drive wire that connects the motor to the inside track underneath the front of the seat which came out. The problem is that the wire is encase in a metal tube which also came out. I have tried everyway to shimmy the tube with the wire back into place and given up after an hour. Any idea what I can do (with out pulling the motor out) to set wire and tube back into place?
