Ebay Product *need opinions*

Does anyone know anything about the sellers of these auctions or even the products?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...spagenameZWDVW
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-9...spagenameZWDVW

Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

Re: Ebay Product *need opinions*

The couplers are crap on both, so are the band clamps, you'll need real silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps. The bends look fine except on both auctions, one of them has way too tight of a radius.

Agreed. Granted it's been a while since I've looked at my IC pipes but the UICP "L" pipe (with the BOV flange) doesn't look right in either auction. I remember mine being much closer to end of the straighter side.

For about $150 more, you can get a FMIC with pipes. Just a thought...

Re: Ebay Product *need opinions*

Yeah but, I have yet to find a descent fmic kit for around 300 that is actually worth buying. I think I just might be better off buying the greddy upper/lower piping...even though I really only want a good upper piping because I am soon getting an ebay core and getting pipes made. I only want to buy the upper piping because a local muffler shop said they can bend the rest of the pipes for me.

Re: Ebay Product *need opinions*

Not sure if this helps you or not, but there will be a Group buy going on on Dsmtuners for a 2g FMIC short route w/ 1g bov flange from XO-store for $295 shipped in the US.

I, for one will be jumping all the fuck over it. It's identical to the AGP kit the sells fo $900. Just a heads up.

Re: Ebay Product *need opinions*

they are not the same flange. But because the greddy flange is smaller you can make it fit by drilling new holes in the 1g flange. It wont work vice-versa with a 1g bov on a greddy flange.

http://www.dsmtuner.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207809

as you read it, you will notice just how good of deal these things are.. I'm 100% going in on the group buy.. Once a new thread starts I'll make a new thread here to advertise it..

Re: Ebay Product *need opinions*

The ic in that group buy used to routinely sell on ebay for under $200 shipped. But now I've found a couple sellers charging $140 incl. shipping.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HUGE-...QQcmdZViewItem

It says it is rated at 25 psi max though, so people with bigger plans should consider an ic such as this which may hold more pressure and is around the same price:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/29-X-...temZ8035898950

For the piping these may work http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-I...QQcmdZViewItem They are suposedly aluminum and it's only $93 shipped.

For the couplers do not get the non-reinforced just silicone ones such as this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-5-3...QQcmdZViewItem
Either go with a name brand like Samco or there are some reinforced ones on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-50-...QQcmdZViewItem

Anyway, that should be around $280 total.
