The proper name I found in the Manufactures book is "Fuel Guage Sending Unit". It is located on the front of the gas tank. What shape is your gas tank in? My car sat for 4 years and I just worked on cleaning it out, but I am not satisfied with the results. I had to by another fuel pump because the original was shot. I have a lot of work left to do on the tank. Maybe buying your fuel tank might be the solution if it is in good shape? Where about do you live? I am on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Thanks.
