I went in to get an inspection sticker today thinking everything was alright. No lights on my dash... The guy got a code P1139. I guess it's bad O2 sensor?? Does anyone know which O2 sensor it is? Anyone gotten this code before? If so what resolved it? Thanks.

I think that may pertain to diesels, but get the right code and we will see.

Re: Code P1139/Failed Inspection...
OK I pulled two codes from the car... PCM PO139 and IPC U1255... Any idea what these mean? And how to fix them? Thanks.

Re: Code P1139/Failed Inspection...
Slow switching of o2 sensor bank one ,# 2 sensor, this could be a bad sensor or a poor connection. U1255 is a network comm ,clear it and see what happens.

Re: Code P1139/Failed Inspection...
In case I have to replace the sensor. Is this the one before or after the cat?? Thanks...

Re: Code P1139/Failed Inspection...
Count back from that bank, if there are 2 in that pipe from the head, the second one is the one. usually there is one on each bank and then the one behind the cat, some engines use one on each bank and another one just before the cat as well.

Quote:
if you have a flex coupling in the exhaust pipe it could be leaking and causing the po139 code |
