Problems with my 2000 Dodge Stratus SE

My stratus is using a lot of gas all of sudden starting yesterday I have went from 3/4 of a tank of gas to a little less than 1/2 a tank and have only driven about 20 miles. I noticed when I am turning the car seems to want to cut off or something. Does anyone have any ideas what this is?

You might just want to try getting a tune-up if you haven't already. Or you might want to check the battery.
