Accident Pictures
Just got the car back from the shop. Everything mechanically wrong was fixed. Anyway, here's the cosmetic aftermath:
Car from drivers side: ![]() Fender & Hood: ![]() Back of the car (note: the left side was already damaged.): ![]() Ugg. It got the fiberglass & the taillight :![]() Damaged rim: ![]() The paint looks good even when it's really really dirty :![]() Custom fiberglass & bondo mount for my HU: ![]() Well, that's about it. I guess the damage could have been worse. I'm still mad it took out my rim though ![]() BTW, anyone have a brougham emblem for the trunk I could buy on the cheap?

Re: Accident Pictures
I think it can be fixed with just bondo. Bondo DOES stick to fiberglass... that's how I made the black piece my headunit is mounted in. If not, you can glass the rough stuff and finish it with bondo. I'm going to be working on mine in a while (probably a few weeks). I'll let you know how it turns out and I'll try to take pics as I work.
Oh yeah, make SURE you wear gloves when working with fiberglass. It itches like crazy. Trust me, I found out the hard way.

Re: Accident Pictures
Have you checked out any junkyards yet? The fender and hood should be an easy fix when you get the parts. I would just bondo the fiberglass like they said.

The damage is from this http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=512555 Also, anyone want to give a guest-imate of value on the car as it is right now? It has new shocks, exhuast (flowmaster 40s series clone), new tires (2003, but only about 3k miles) on wire wheels (not the ones in the picture), new idler arm, new tie-rod ends, new alternator, new A/C as of 2003, new serpentine belt (and I also have one that only had a few hundred miles on it), new brake pads & rotors as of ~5000 miles ago (2003), new radiator as of 2003, new plugs, wires, & rotor as of 2003, and the CD player pictured. It has 134000 miles on it. Obviously, I'm not hiding anything I had my mechanic go through everything after the accident to make sure it's safe hence the new parts. The reason I'm considering selling it is because I want a smaller car, but that's really just a thougt. I also want a manual transmission. Thanks

Re: Accident Pictures
Update: I just got a gallon of bondo, extra hardener (they never include enough), and some paint. I already have sandpaper ranging from 80 to 2000 grit, rubbing compound, and all the other stuff I need. Hopefully I'll get to work on it over the weekend. I just want to get the trunk & fiberglass fixed.
88Caprice, I'll let you know how the fiberglass repair turns out

Re: Accident Pictures
The tailight's here and the bumper & fender are at the mechanic's. The fender has a small ding in the top (not bad at all) so my mechanic talked to a body guy & is getting it fixed FREE! The fender also has an antenna which I needed and all the chrome edging. The bumper is pretty good, but needs a new black rubber strip thing. The car should look awesome by the time I'm done
