Engine Bogging Down, Timing Chain Problem?
Today and yesterday, I was driving my 92 2.4L manual and the speed was noticeably dropping. Maybe i'm going nuts but I've driven this car for a couple years and this has never happened before. What could be attributing to this?
Last year when we replaced the gasket, we saw that the timing chain was stretched. I'm wondering if the engine acting up would have anything to do with the stretched chain. I plan to replace the chain asap. |

Re: Engine Bogging Down, Timing Chain Problem?
more info please...Noticeably dropping on deceleration or what? Timing chain problems are generally super audible. If its on deceleration then i would assume Fuel Filter first off.
