all of the warning lights abs, check engine,

In addition to all the warning lights,Radio, blower . which all turn on and off all carzy . the speedo goes to 100 miles an hour and the dash sounds like microwave popcorn .. . .heres the real surprise it doesent start and if it was running it dies . when its running usually the abs light comes on first for a sec then the cars stalls out . I can make the car start this fun show if it feel like it by turning on just about anything like headlights, blower , defroster . The car is a 1995 buick lesabre with aprox 140 k . had it less than a month

I am not sure if I should replace the altinator or chase a bad connection ?

Go for all the grounds first, then suspect ign switch, I assume you have good alternator output and a good battery, of course.

You have checked the battery connection, haven't you. Removed the ground and then the postive cables and cleaned them, checked for corrosion down into the cable copper.

Checked for loose post or leakage especially on the side post batteries.

Checked for full voltage-12.6 v so there's not a bad cell dropping the voltage output. Can't low voltage cause lots of strange symptoms?

I have a 2001 chevy blazer abs light is on and there is a strange noise coming out of a small motor on the drivers side engine.

Re: all of the warning lights abs, check engine,

its your computer. buy a used one, the reason the engine craps out is because the computer controls the fuel/air mizture and everthing else. it also runs the dash, and the speedometer is the big clue here, its all a signal and it can only recieve a signal when the vehicle is in motion(thats why they call it a vehicle speed sensor). trust me im sure thats what it is.

Re: all of the warning lights abs, check engine,

Hate to repeat this but.. Mine did similar .. seems the Crankshaft position sensor was bad.. somehow Braining out the Computer.. It was a long troubleshoot..believe me. my first indication was the speedometer swinging up.
Computer is a easier swap try... if you can find a friend that willswap it for a bit. just for a confidence check. ..
