Re: completed: 72 chevy
that's cool man, as you saw I'm working on the same truck. In your picture of the rear frame/axle set up I noticed you're missing the frame that came with the kit. Which brings me to my question, did you just cut out that part or did you leave out the whole frame? I'm trying to keep the stock frame and modify it. Oh, and also. Did you cut the top off of the front wheels/tires to make them fit? The wheels/tires and huge so I figured you would have to to make them fit under the stock front wheel wells.
Looks good though, great looking truck.

Re: completed: 72 chevy
Yes the rear frame and rear end "except pumpkin" is all scratch built from plastic tubing... The front wheels are cut also, with the suspesion only looking good from the bottom i didn't wanna have to make all my own parts so it would look good with no wheel wells in there... Your gonna run into a problem laying rocker with the stock frame when you put the motor in. So i left out the whole frame and made my own motor mounts to raise it up a little bit so i could get the truck lowered more.. if you got any other questions just ask me, more than happy to give you suggestions. BTW the bags are made from aluminum tubing and O-rings,, pretty accurate i think..

Re: completed: 72 chevy
You should look for some scale air tanks, would really add to the overall look. I like the droppage though and the rear end looks nicely built too.
