struts and spring replacement

Does anyone know how long a brand new front spring is before being installed? I am replacing the struts and springs and mounting hardware an my 94 voyager 3.0L. The new springs measured 20 inches. Does that sound right? The old ones measure 12 inches while still compressed in the strut with the strut is removed and still assembled. I just want to check before I start the installation.

Sounds about right. The springs are soft and there is about 1000 lbs of weight that sit on them.
