engine lift fluid

i just got this old beat up (snap on) engine lift.. and i was wondering what kind of fluid i should put in? any body use these before?
and how much should i put in

I'd put Red Line Synthetic (10w40) with a magnetic drain plug...... (just having fun)

The answer to your question is probably lies on snap-on's 1800 number, or any mechanic shop that uses an engine lift.
