Clear tube

Hi I'm trying to track down some clear tube that has wider inner dimensions than the ones from Modelers' or Model Factory Hiro. I need a tube that would fit a .9 mm solder but at the same time it shouldn't have outer meassurements of more than say 1.3-1.5 mm. Anyone know of a clear tube that fits my description. Modelers' and MFH tube is way to narrow.
best regards
Joel

Re: Clear tube

Maybe you can find some clear shrink wrap tubing?

Re: Clear tube

One other possibility would be to use clear fishing line?

Re: Clear tube

Joel,
Sakatsu make clear tube with outside diameters of 1.1mm and 1.2mm. I have the 1.1 and 0.9 'wire' is a tight fit so the bigger one may suit?
Here's the links to HLJ

Hope that helps?

Re: Clear tube

you could just go to radio shack and pick up some speaker wire.

strip the wire out of the clear side and you have perfect clear tubing and tons of it for cheap

Re: Clear tube

thanks
I think I'll try the Sakatsu one, fishing line is perfect for some items but I have to get something for the breather hose on the motorcycle tank and the fitting gets pretty wide.
