Arrow Plug Wires On 4afe

Aright I have upgraded plug wires for a friends 93 Celica ST with the 4afe motor. I am pretty sure that is the motor. Anyways has anyone replaced their plug wires as the stock ones seem to be attached to the distributor cap WAY too well. Can someone help me out on how to take them off the cap and replace them. Thanks

^look at my pic, just grab them and pull, be sure to grab the boot and not the wire itself

Re: Plug Wires On 4afe

Just tried to pull them off, didn't work so well. They seemed to be attached by plastic and needless to say I owe my friend a new cap. Damn

Re: Plug Wires On 4afe

HAHAHA! I changed my wires a while ago. Didnt see the post earlier... If i remember correctly, theres that tiny little plastic thing that clicks, holding the boot in place. Should pry that lil thing a bit and then pull on the boot.
