Door Chime won't stop

I have a 1999 explore sport. Even when the lights are off the door chime comes on. Is there a simple fix??

No key is out, lights are off but door open. Someone told me it could be either the chime for the lights on or the chime for key still in ignition, but not sure which and how to correct.

Re: Door Chime won't stop

got the same problem bro...after like 5 mins it goes off...its only chimes when the door is open...and if im driving and i put it in park and shut off the ignition and open the door and shut off my lights, then it wont go on...

i got a 1996 by the way...sounds like its a common prob with most explorers
