00 4 Runner Lower Arm Replacement

HELLO EVERYBODY, I HAVE A 2000 4RUNNER LIMITED 4X4, WITH RIGHT FRONT LOWER ARM DAMAGE, I HAVE A REPLACEMENT, BUT I AM HAVING TROUBLE REMOVING THE OLD ONE, SINCE THERE IS VERY LITTLE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE ARM BOLT AND THE STEERING RACK, I FIGURE I HAVE TO REMOVE THE STEERING RACK, WELL I UNBOLTED THE RIGHT SUPPORT, THE LEFT MOUNTING BOLT AND THE RACK IS STILL UNMOVABLE, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO NEXT?
I TOUGHT ABOUT COMPLETELY DETACHING THE STEERING COLUMN AND THE FLUID HOSES, IS THIS NECESSARY? HOW DO YOU DETACH THE STEERING COLUMN?
ANY HELP WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
tHANK YOU.
