oil leak

My car is leaking oil, but it is hard to find the source because it drips from somwehere above and makes it look like the sides of the oil pan are leaking, then it drips onto the fram and drips from the middle. not sure how to find the source.

Not knowing your engine or model... My 95 3.1 was leaking where the distributor meets the manifold and was easily solved by replacing the o-ring seal on the distributor shaft at the manifold. Several people I work with had the same problem on their Lumina at one time or another.
