Autometer Cobalt Series gauge questions.

I noticed at Summit they have a couple different cobalt boost gauges. I've always wanted the cobalt series. Anyway.

They have one that lists for $199.95 and one that lists for $68.95.

The one that's almost $200 comes with MAP sensor, a "Full sweep, stepper motor meter movement.", 8ft of tubing, and a T-fitting.

I have the T-fitting, the tubing, the stock MAP sensor but why does it list the shit about the sweep on the $200 version? They also say that the $200 one has black/luminescent blue face and the $68 one has just a back face? When you look at the pics they are idnetical. Both the cheapo and the expensive one are the same exact color, so why would they light up differently? All i care about is how it lights up and if it's accurate. (i know it'll be accurate, i trust autometer).

So as for the MAP sensor. Does the $200 version include a MAP sensor that you need for the cobalt series or what? I'm completely confused lol. Any help?

Re: Autometer Cobalt Series gauge questions.

The $200 one is electrical, the other one is mechanical. I'd go mechanical, I've never heard of an electrical one working better or anything. Also, you can get that same boost guage about $15 cheaper on SBR and eBay. Mike got one like that, it is sexy, epecially at night.
