Attn: Texan 4Gers and other group members...
At your convenience, point your browsers to T4Gen.net , the freshly completed site for the Texas Fourth Generation Honda Owner's Club.
My fellow proud Texan Honda owners, please swing by the site and have yourself listed as a member of the club. For all the other group members, you might find some use in the Question & Answer section, which is a categorized listing and archive of many topics regarding 4G Hondas discussed in this and other forums. It should prove to be a valuable resource to direct mechanically uninformed or inquisitive individuals to. I have created and will be maintaining this site as a hobby, combining my love for 4G Hondas with web development. My singular goal is to provide an informative resource for my fellow Honda owners, and hope that you will find some use in this site's existance on the net. I look forward to your feedback. - Mordecai |

You've obviously put a lot of work into this site. I think it will be a great resource, the links page is quite extensive!
The design is very clean, straight forward and easy to navigate. I know some people will probably think "where did all the photos go?". I'm sure if photos are needed (like "how to change your brake pads") you'll post something up there. Why only Texas Civic owners? Why not make a section of other regions/members? Its actually a good idea ot archive forums like AF. I think our posts here are deleted after 2 months or so... also, your format should be more search engine friendly than AF's dynamic page content.. What kind of server setup are you running? |

Thank you for your kindly review; only by criticism (+ or -) can I improve the site beyond my own personal inspirations.
I will admit that the site is a fair bit sparse on pictures, which is something I will come to as time permits and visitor desire is expressed. Primarily, the site is a resource; secondarily, it provides eye-candy. :alien2: I attach T4Gen.net to Texas simply because I am a proud Texan myself, and did not figure that I would bite off the entire USA or world in one site; the Texan-relation is simply to help local 4Gers to organize into an online community. With time, I am hoping to see Texas 4G Honda swap meets, car shows, get-togethers, etc. If interest is shown, I will add an "honorary membership" section for those who wish to be a part of the site, and the community, without a Texas residency. Server setup? The site is registered and hosted through Yahoo!'s GeoCities, Webmaster plan. I have no access to a higher technological amenities, but the reliability and price cannot be beat. Thank you again for your post - My only hope for this site is to provide a resource for and some assistance to the 4G community, in Texas, and across the globe. I have learned a wealth of knowledge from others online, and this is my way of giving back. - Mordecai |
