2000 Sunfire GT with noises! PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT, Auto, with 87,000 KMS on the odometer. Here's the problem, everytime I crank the wheel either to the right or left (Making a turn) the wheels produce a "Stressed Grinding" type noise. Not the kind of grinding that sounds like 2 pieces of metal rubbing against each other but more of a loader noise and you can feel the viabration in the steering wheel too!

What do you guys think it is? I have checked the "Power Steering" fluid and the level seems good enough, what else could it be??? Struts? Shocks? C.B. Joints?

Next question, When its cold outside I can hear a "sqeeking" noise from under the hood, now I know this is "Belt" related but could it also maybe be the spinner that holds the belt in place??? Or do both items need changing?

Please guys, if you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

Take Care!

Could be one or both wheel bearings going south. or it could be brake related . When you are driving down the highway can you hear abit of a hum that was not there before. I would like to tell you how I could tell when I had a wheel bearing going at highway speed but someone somewhere would probably screw it up and wreck and possibly get hurt. I AM not bragging here just stating facts. Jack it up and pull a wheel off ,check the brake caliper and the pads to see if anything is loose. be sure to block the car up before you pull wheel off , dont want it falling off the jack. before you take the wheel off grab the wheel top and bottom and see if you can move it in and out. AS for the squeek get a new belt put on ,probably all you need. the belt is probably glazing (getting shiney ). If it has never been changed you know when it will break, at the most inconveinent time. Save the old belt for a spare. Good luck
