Re: Sweet caprice
If I could find the little smiley with the BS flag I'd raise it.
Let's see where to start.... Ok the Supercharger - supposed to be a one of a kind prototype. In the picture it shows two decals. One from Granatelli is STUCK on. The one that reads Manufactured and Serviced exclusively by Paxton is RIVETED on. Hmm. Wonder which one is real??? Also I have never seen any kind of an intake like that I guess. I mean, I see where the air is supposed to come out of the supercharger. But I don't see how it's supposed to get into the intake. At least I don't see how it's supposed to get in the throttle body. Since it appears to have to take quite a few 90* bends and has the hacked up OEM elbow in place I question how effective it would possibly be. The $3k Recaro seats, actually more like $1200 at most, are filthy and the shoulder belts aren't even mounted down to anything. That's real safe. I count a 4 point harness not five, that is if the shoulder belts were mounted down. Lastly, why does every picture where you can see that black think on top of the stock intake appear to be doctored? There is something that appears to me to be blurred out on the top side of that thing. Just my $.02.

Re: Sweet caprice
Yikes it's pretty bad when my almost 30yr old former daily driver caprice looks better (inside and out) than one that's 18 yrs newer.

Re: Sweet caprice
I like the line
Quote:
I would be ashamed to have anything Granatelli on my car. Definetely not a show car, hopefully whomever put it together knew a lot more than the person who wrote the description. |
