Question Engine Swap

Anyone Ever Do A Swap From A 2.8 To A 3.4 Or 3.8? I Am Looking For A New Engine Since The 2.8 With 240 000 kms Is Running Rough And The Main bearings Are Gonna Pack It In.

I Know That A 2.8 To A 3.1 Is Possible.

I would put a 3.1 in it and forget obout it. Its a great engine and no modifications are needed. Just my 2 cents!!

If you're gonna spend the time and money on a swap.. make it worth your time! Go from a 2.8 to a 3800 supercharged. There you will notice a difference. You won't really notice much of a difference going up to the 3.1. The 2.8 and 3.1 are almost the same engines.

A W-body specialist site makes a supercharger for the V-6 Grand Am, it'll fit ours, I'll work on getting a link.
