Re: Steering wheel to 1991 grand prix
Generally the steering wheel will come off easily. However, if you have an air bag I don't recommend that you do the job yourself. If you choose to do it yourself disable the air bag system and then remove the screws in the back of the steering wheel. This will remove the air bag and allow you access to the steering wheel mounting nut. Once you remove the steering wheel nut you will need a puller to remove the wheel. If you intend to remove the lock cylinder or anything further into the column you will need a lock plate depresser that pushes down on the lock plate and then allows you to remove the locking ring. Good Luck!

Re: Steering wheel to 1991 grand prix
The center horn button just pops off. Then you'll see the big nut that holds the steering wheel on. You'll need a sterring wheel puller to get it off the shaft, as it is a press fit. If you are getting any further into the steering column, you're also going to need a lock plate removal tool to gain access to anything further down the column (ignition switch, turn signal switch, etc... )
