Cool Lowering Springs

Now that I have the engine and exhaust worked out (custom catback, headers & muffler), it's time to think about lowering. Its a 91 accord wagon and I'm not a racer but I like performance (anyone familiar with Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles?) I was looking into Lowering Springs that will offer a comfortable ride with better handling. I'm looking at RS-R springs or Magan Racing springs and trying to stay in the $150 range (wife put me on a budget!!) Any suggestions would be great. I'm new to this tuning stuff so please be gentle

Re: Lowering Springs

Look into H&R springs, some of the best on the market with a good price. You should also consider upgrading the struts with any type of lowering.

Re: Lowering Springs

Tokico HP or Illumina
KYB AGX
Koni Red or Yellow
Bilstein

I always recommend adjustable dampening with lowering springs. It costs more up front but you will be happier with a ride you want.

Re: Lowering Springs

RS*R is great stuff .. Megan is poop. Shocks go with Tokico blues or KYB AGX .. (if your looking for good but low budget). Once u get into the 2"+ drops .. go with KONI or Bilstein for sure b/c they feature a thicker shock rod. You can maybe go with them any way b/c the Accords are big to begin with .. but they usualyl cost a bit more ..
