Big Engine Mod

Let's say i can get my hands on a 502 4 bolt main big block, is there enough room to get it in the car

Right now I have an 84 Camaro z28 with the 305 v8

the 502 is a bigblock v8

in a previous thread about me swapping in a big block in my 'maro, i was told that a small block and big block has the same bolt pattern for trannies....i dunno

666 you are spontanious and correct good job.
I think it would be a tight fit to get the engine in the car

plus even if it happens that the tranny is different im prolly gonna get a new one cause this one is a piece that was rebuilt , and is starting to give out...
prolly cause i threw it into reverse while doing 40 down the highway...stripped tranny vs an engine sitting in my lap.

wait....did someone delete a post? or did i just imagine i saw something about a transmission? gosh....but a big block will fit...from what i can learn about the 4th gens it takes quite some fabricating...but it will fit

rebuilt tranny(stock once again)
...now that I think about it,
this is an entirely stock car cept
for the filter assembly, and a few
missing trim parts.
