program keyless remote 03 silverado..

hello...can someone please inform me as to how to program a keyless remote ...also do you have to do this everytime you change a battery in remote? thanks.

You shouldnt have to program the remote after you change the battery...just hold LOCK and UNLOCK down for 7 seconds to resync the remote to the receiver.

If you have 2 remotes, and then change the battery on one, and do the whole program procedure again, you'd have to reprogram the 2nd remote as well.
