04 srt-4 is faster than LT1s???

hi guys..

well l was just sorfing on street racing forum and l read a thread and they say that 04 srt-4s are bone stock high 13s and low 14s cars. and l told them man LT1s are like that so those 2900 lbs 225 hp. front wheel drive srt-4s are faster than LT1s? and they say that they think srt-4s are faster. and l couldnt believe it.

so what do ya'll think about this? l am not talking about my car, l am talking about all LT1s on the streets (auto or manual)

l didnt know LT1s were slower than those cars guys..

i've never lost to one...but then again ive only raced stock ones and my car has a moderate amount of bolt ons.

it take along time to generate power from LT1's. little 4 banners rev so hi so fast, with the right gears LOOK OUT!!! i have a 67 SS Camaro with a 396 and my buddy 3L Supra kills me but with 10" tires at the track I get him mid track. cya

yesterday l test drove a 2006 f-150 and l said man l am getting an f-150 because it was sooo good. then l drove a cobra 2001 with some mods on it, and 91k on it. man it was flying. l was thinking maybe my car was fast but mine is a little honda if l compare that cobra and l said forget the f-150, l will get the cobra but they asked $11.000 and we asked $10.000 and they didnt accept and we didnt get it. hopefully next time..

now l will not mess with any srt-4s till l get a cobra or LS1 trans am.cuz l am scraareedd

well man, l always think whatever u have bone stock, that is your real power.. everyone can make cars faster with mods.. also, l am not gonna spend any money on my LT1 cuz it doesnt worth it. it has 128 k miles on it. aslo it is auto l replaced everything. it was a sick car. and now l hate it. l will sell it as soon as possible and get an healthy car and make that car a monster. that time l will work on it for a while. and l wont race with those civics or srt-4s. that time will just waist my gas on LS1 trans ams. corvettes and cobras. and hopefully l will have someone around me who could take video so l can post

V8's for the most part generate more torque down low so the 4 cyc does not get a jump on it. Yes it would be a driver race and no a SRT-4 will not kill a LT1. It just may give it a run for its money or possible edge it out both run similiar times though but LT1 is much easier to get more power out of.

i have an 02 firehawk (manual) and some kid with an srt-4 with stage 1 ecu, mopar intake, and exhaust thinks his car could take mine from 30-100mph. i think hes underestimating me. assuming same driving skills, i would have the advantage, correct?

oh ya but the driving is key stick is better then a shift kit or stall

Stick is only as good as the driver. For some a auto would probably help them better.

man, u will definetely blow his doors off.. even if u re not an excellent driver, u will still beat him.. u got LS1 firehawk.. that tell us the result..
