WIP: Initial D RX-7 A-SPEC W/ MS-02 Rims

Well, i've been working on this for a while now, but i can't seem to figure out a way to lower the front. the rear rims were just right but the front is just totally out of proportion. does anyone have any tips or how you would go about lowering the front on this kit? thanks

Here are some pics

oh by the way, for any of you making this model, after messing up kyoko's version of the FD, i discovered that the decal for the center console does not seem to align perfectly to the grooves on the actual part when setting it. therefore i cut each part of the decal out and individually set them on the part. from what i've seen it comes out much better that way

Paint job looks good. Very Clean Interior too.

To lower, just scrap the suspension struts, glue the brake a little above the axle, then glue the wheel.

The body isnt painted yet if youre wondering. i still havent gotten around to buying the yellow paint. does duplicolor have mazda colors? i went to the local canadian tire and they only had toyota yellow. is that yellow similar to the tamiya yellow?

cutting off the struts i got but im worried about part A2. from what i see, it'll be to high to glue onto the shornened strut? would i have to bend the plastic piece on the ends for it to fit the assembly?

Re: WIP: Initial D RX-7 A-SPEC W/ MS-02 Rims

yeah, im pretty sure if you were to lower it by cutting the strusts that you would have to bend the linkages on A2.... or cut them and glue them back at an angle so it fits... not quite sure...

Re: WIP: Initial D RX-7 A-SPEC W/ MS-02 Rims

well, i finally lowered the car, thanks to Myx_85's idea of cutting the struts shorter. however the A2 part i did not want to spend time cutting so i made them fit by heating and bending. here's the results:

BEFORE:

AFTER: the back was lowered 1mm and the front 4mm
