It appears to be a Cleveland.

Look in the front of the motor. The 351w has an extended timing cover. on the 351c the timing chain & gears are set back in the block. The block sticks out in the front for the timing chain & gears on the clev where on the windsor it does not. Hard to tell anything about it from that pic though.

Look at the valve covers. If they taper inward at the top, they are Windsors. If you do a teardown, I believe clevelands are also 4 bolt mains. Windsors are 2 bolt.

Re: Is this a 351c or 351w....?

A few ways to I.D. a Cleveland versus a Windsor:

The thermostat housing points straight up and bolts to the block. The valve covers have 8 bolts holding them down. Windsors have 6. These also apply to 351Ms and 400s which you probably do not want. If its in a small to mid sized passenger car, it's a 99% chance 351C.

Cleveland header mounting surface stands away from the head like an FE or 385 series; Windsors are flush.

Take some more/better pics. I knew the thermostat housing bolted to the block on the 351c where it bolts to the intake on a 351w. Dunno why I did list that difference lol. If you cant get any better pics look for numbers on the intake. That should help out.

I think its a 351w.
