JDM using USDM parts?!?

I’m new to engine knowledge.. help me
so if i have jdm engine do i only use jdm parts?
does usdm parts work on a jdm? Decreases power, right?
oil filter, belts etc. For Maintenance so forth….

How about upgrades, headers, cam etc..
Does jdm have upgrade parts?
Consider they toss there cars after so & so years..
I mean, would they still make performance parts for lets just say a jdm H22

did i make any sence? well, does somone know what im talking about..

Well for 90% of the engines 99% of the parts are the same.

You only get porblems on engines that were never sold in the states, or were sold in differnt configerations.

But for something like an H22 the only differnce is in the pistons (differnt comression ratio) and the ECU mapping.
Otherwise to the best of my knowledge all other parts are exactly the same.
