Auto-Dim rear view mirror-'97 Riviera

I have a '97 Riviera with an inside auto-dim rearview mirror. If I add a auto-dim mirror "with a compass", will everything work with the existing wiring?

I have both on my car, and he compass only needs ign power to run, so it should be an easy change... However, I can tell you that I virtually never USE the damn compass. Having Electrochromic dimming on the rear and sideview mirrors is plenty for me. If you want it, thought, it's just ign power and the right wiring mods.

Already have an Auto-Dim mirror.....NO mods needed to add compass. The ignition and ground for the auto-dim also power the compass. Easy swap.
