Wheel Bolt Pattern / Interchanging Wheels

Does anyone know if '03-'05 wheel bolt patterns will fit earlier CV's?

I guess they would both have a 5 lug, 4.5" pattern, but I heard the lugs may have different mm sizes.

I would like to put '03-05 wheels on my '01.

Thanks.

Re: Wheel Bolt Pattern

go to www.tirerack.com and go to "wheeles" on the left somewhere it should tell you, pluss you can check out some sweet rims while you're at it.

Thanks, but I had already checked tire rack.

You can punch in a year and model for rims or packages.

They will give you rim sizes for a specific year and model, but no data as to inter-changing years or possible different bolt patterns.

Re: Wheel Bolt Pattern

Well, I'm told 1993 wheels will fit on any Vic up to and including 2002. From 2003 and up you have to user a spacer or something.

Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Wheel Bolt Pattern

It's all about the offset. 03 & up wheels would have to have huge spacers to fit properly on a 92-02 Vic. I would recommend finding some nice 16" rims from any 92-02 model instead. Spacers are asking for trouble.

Thanks. I was talking to a wheel dealer who said the rears would fit fine, but the front need a 1" spacer to keep the rims from rubbing against the caliper.

Appreciated your info BMFer1. I will stay away from the late model wheels.
