passt vr6 air box

Hi i own a 94 passat glx vr6, and i just removed the air box and well it has like more strenght and it sounds really nice and deep and it sounds like if my engine had a turbo kit in it its sounds really nice, but by removing the air box will affect my car in a way? and the fuel economy?

you still need an air filter... hopefully you have an air filter on it

well my car is running with out an air filter right now im planning to get a air intake thing so should i put it back u know the filter right away?

yeah, unless you want rocks and dirt getting into your engine
