wanting to take out stock stereo

I want to take out my stock stereo in my 2003 Malibu but I need a wiring harness. I don't have the RDS(think thats what it is called) version in my car. Scosche say I need a gm09 but they have a gm11 for 2000 gm models and up, it lists the malibu as one of the cars it works in. I need to know if this one will work in my car. Does anyone know?

Re: wanting to take out stock stereo

and if you want to continue using the remote locks and alert chimes you need a special harness that connects to your stock radio (which is sitting in my trunk hooked up) and a little speaker for the alerts. $70.
