Finally an independant air fllter test

I haven't had time to read it all yet, but I just got an independant report on air filters.

http://home.usadatanet.net/~jbplock/ISO5011/SPICER.htm

It's a must read before you buy your next air filter, especially for thse of us that drive in dusty conditions

Re: Finally an independant air fllter test

Aw man
That is going to break them K&N filter peoples heart and put tears in there eyes
But It is a good article and air filter test and study
Also here is a good link on oil filter study
http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilters.html
Another interesting fact on cold air air intake systems.
A lot of the OEM air intake systems are already true cold air and forced air intake systems.
By drawing air in from the fender well or grill it is outside cold air forced in to grill or fender well while on the road.
They remove this system and install a air filter under the hood that actually pulls in hot air from under the hood air and call it a cold air intake system.
