How to tell the diference between a small 16g, big 16g, and an evo III?

Like the title says, How do I tell the difference? I just got a 16g in the mail (thanks Blackcrow64) and I just wanted to find out for sure what it was

Is there much of a power difference between big and small 16g?

airflow differences, definitely, but when it comes to track times, for some reasons the small 16's actually produce better times. There was a discusison on tuners about this a while ago. I believe it had something to do with compressor effeciency.

Intersting, I wouldnt have guessed a small 16g would produce better numbers than a big 16g

well I just checked dsmtimes.org and this is definitely no longer the case. Weird.

Re: How to tell the diference between a small 16g, big 16g, and an evo III?

The difference in power potential between the s16g and b16g is minimal.

The evoIII 16g has produced some numbers significantly above the other two (i.e. 400+ awhp without nitrous).

Any of those turbos can be tuned well above 300hp, but few people support the turbos or tune their cars properly enough to see those mid-high 300hp numbers.
