Trouble starting
I have a 99 s10 ZR2 and it has problems starting if it has been shut off for more than 20 or 30 minutes. It takes about 10 seconds of cranking before it fires up. Once it is warm and I shut it off, it will fire right back up. What could be causing this delay. I was thinking it was some sort of fuel problem.

Re: Trouble starting
Will I need to replace the fuel pump, or is it ok to leave the truck the way it is. Will it contine to get worse or what?

Re: Trouble starting
Get a pressure gage on it and see if it is bad, if it is a cpfi Vortech, 60-65. Eliminates expensive guess work, fuel filter also can cause this.
