Help, I need some info.

I got a '97 tahoe 4x4 5.7L (123,000) I just noticed a small but obvious oil leak that was dripping on the driveway. I just changed the oil and filter on jan. 30 and not only was it three quarts low it was leaking oil which looks like its coming from the oil pan gasket. However I also changed the plugs, cap, and rotor, and happened to touch a small pool of oil around the rear manifold area. I don't know what to replace or how to replace it, some advice is appreciated. Also what kind of shocks are good, I want something that will ride smooth but isn't to hard. Also what are some good brake pads that won't leave to much brake dust and are quite. Appreciate all comments and advice.

Some older model cars and trucks used to use a small gasket that went on the distributor housing where it went into the block, maybe that gasket is leaking?

Maybe the pcv is plugged up
