need a 2.0 engine for 98 escort

can anyone help me with a engine for my escort CHEAP!!!! I have been told the month the car was made makes a difference. Please help

It really does'nt matter what year 2.0 SPI you buy, 97-02 or when ever they quite making them will work, just reuse your old manifolds and fuel rail, and make sure it's from an Escort and not a Focus.
