2005 Dodge Neon SXT

Hey guys,

I had an integra and it got stolen, so I am opting for a cheap, fuel economical car.

I rented an 2005 SXT neon, what do you guys who own them think of them?

Any major problems?

Any major things you like?

Anything you don't like?

Thanks.

Re: 2005 Dodge Neon SXT

Here is some good info on the second generation neon...

One thing to keep in mind is that the neon is no longer in production. Don't know if that would bother you or not, just wanted to inform you. I personally don't like the 2nd gen neon body style, I prefer the 1st gen.

They are inexpensive and don't have very good resale value. They have their quirks and personality flaws. That said, I would buy one anyway, but used b/c they are cheap (low resale value) and often misunderstood.
