70,000 Mile Service

I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima gle
It currently has 70,000 in the odometer....

What service do I need to do right now?

Timing belt?
plugs, wires, What belts do I change?
What fluids do I need to change?
Can someone give me information please???????

I guess opinions vary, as do driving conditions. Theres also the check list in the Nissan FSM - seek clic clic. All depends how long you plan to keep the car; I suggest for a 4year plan. For me, it would be smtg like this:

Theres no belt: chain guide check at around 120k
Engine oil, filter 10k
Air filter check
A/T fluid 20-30k [dino]
Brake fluid 2-3yrs
Cooling liquid 5yrs (check freezing point)
Steering fluid 60k [dino]
All Shocks at 60k
Plugs 5k/60k std/platinum (coilpacks after problems appear)
Visual checkup yearly: All rubber parts like Axle rubber boots, All belts replaced 60k or if brittled
etcetc

Harness maintenance; this is huge operation series if throughly done.

Chassis; this is also huge operation series if throughly done.
Hinges, locks, window mechanism lubrication
Rust proofing, dents, paint chip patch. Rear wheel wells inspection.
Checkup under matresses
Paint: Wax 3x per year.

70,000 mile service sucks. it's pretty much everything nahk listed. if you go to nissan to do it it's very expensive. and the spark plugs are the biggest Pain in the ass becuase you have to take off your intake manifold to get to the rear bank of plugs.
