baffled please help

ok i have a 88 sierra tbi 5.7L
when driving it bogs down from 1st to 2nd gear....not all the time but 90% of the time...also sometimes when i pull in make a turn to my driveway to park the truck it dies sometimes (about 40% of the time) sometimes it feels like a 8 cylinder sometimes it feels like a 4.....when at idle in traffic it acts like it wants to die....now here is the list of things that have been changed over the past 3 months in order

coil
knock sensor
map sensor
fuel filter
exhaust
egr valve
rebuilt transmission
catalytic converter
plugs and wires

now when i look at it when its starts seems the injectors are spraying very well

any input would be greatly appreciated since my funds are almost out trying to get this truck running right

would bring it to a shop to get it fixed BUT all the shops around my area are booked for weeks

Re: baffled please help

It is probably a warn distributor. Pull of the distributor cap and see if there is side to side movement in the shaft. If so then the bushings are bad, you can either replace the bushings, and possibly the shaft or the entire distributor. These distributors are known for going bad and causing problems like this.
